Meet K-9 Einstein!

Einstein is a Belgian Malinois. While German Shepherds have been a staple of policing for decades, Malinois have been incorporated a lot more in the past decade because of their strength, speed and lack of environmental issues in the field.

Einstein is a tracking dog. He is used primarily for tracking and area searches for suspects and locating missing people. Einstein is an energetic, work-driven dog who loves to work and pay fetch. Einstein is Sgt. Reardon’s second K9. His first K9, Erik is now retired and is living at home comfortably with Sgt. Reardon’s family. You will see Einstein around town on patrol and at different events including K9 demonstrations at the rec camps, visiting the Cohasset schools and making presentations with other local organizations.
