Nips & Bites Gala – Saturday, November 19th

The Nips and Bites Gala was a great success.  Many thanks to all who made it possible:

First, to Suddenly Simple Events and Melissa Peralta: thank you for your creative ideas, energy and great “nips” recipes! The event would not likely have taken place without your involvement from the beginning!
Speaking of the beginning… the wonderful “nips and bites” graphic that was used for the invitations, signage and tickets was created by the very talented Katrina McNaughton , who took a sort of hair-brained idea and turned it into the perfect image for the event. Thank you!
Huge thanks to our emcee and auctioneer, Jim Wells and to Jenn Warshaw and her cheerful team from 5 South Main for such a delicious and creative menu of “bites” that just kept coming.

To Sandy Hill, Jen, Diane Kennedy, Mara Stefan and Sally Sisson for keeping the night running smoothly… thank you! To our wonderful Therapy Dog teams: Jack and Bailey, Mara and Sophie, Heather and Missy, Julie and Jada and Sarah and Bailey – your presence was the “special sauce” that made the event unique! To George McGoldrick, Shannon King, Sandy Hill, Leah Spada, Gina Mattivello, Diane K and Pat Reardon for getting those raffle tickets sold: you overcame the odds of a busy event season and we almost sold out.
