The Cohasset Working Dog logo is the brainchild of Marshfield resident and well-known creative visionary, Tom Hughes. In addition to this perfect logo which he designed for CWDF, Tom is credited with design of the Apply MacIntosh brand identity and for corporate identity for Lotus Development Corporation. He is also a cofounder of Idealab.
Each of the “dog tags” on the puppy’s collar represent one of the programs supported by the Cohasset Working Dog Foundation. In a playful, colorful way, the logo clearly depicts the CWDF program areas, and by sheer coincidence, the dog is a near perfect graphic depiction of what service dog Parker looked like when he was a puppy.
